Community

Ikard Young places a premium on community service and giving back.   Here are a few organizations and issues our team is proud to support.

Founded in 1999, the Hill Country Ride for AIDS is an annual cycling event on multi-distanced routes in the Central Texas Hill Country. Ikard Young partner Tim Young is the chair of the Board of Directors of the Ride and has ridden in the event since 2004. Bill Ikard and Kyle Farrar also regularly ride in the event. Riders, teams, and volunteers provide life-saving support for thousands of Central Texans living with HIV/AIDS by raising money from supporters who sponsor the Ride. The event is a ride, not a race. And riders regardless of skill or experience level are welcome to ride. The Hill Country Ride for AIDS provides financial support to nine beneficiary agencies through this annual cycling event open to a broad range of participants and at the same time promotes HIV awareness and education.

The Texas Mamma Jamma Ride is a 501(c) 3 non-profit organization dedicated to raising funds to help families in our local community facing breast cancer. Our amazing community of cyclists, volunteers, sponsors, and beneficiary organizations come together each year to participate in one of the best supported and most fun bike rides in Texas. Bill Ikard and Tim Young regularly ride in this event helping to raise funds for the breast cancer community in Central Texas.
