Bio: Tim Young joined Ikard Young in 2009 with a focus on commercial, finance and real estate transaction matters, licensing and international law. He has worked extensively in the area of tax incentives and economic development programs for new industrial projects in Texas.

Tim brings a wealth of business transaction experience, having represented clients for more than 25 years in corporate, finance, business and real estate matters. He has represented clients in many different industries, including software, engineering, telecommunications, banking, oil and gas, real estate, water and environmental areas. Tim has represented various-sized companies from small start-up ventures to large publicly held companies. He also has extensive experience in representing clients in international business matters including licensing, distribution, outsourcing, leasing, and establishing and winding up foreign subsidiaries.

In addition to private practice experience, Tim served as general counsel to an engineering solutions and software company with international operations. His work there included mergers and acquisitions, corporate financings, intellectual property licensing and outsourcing agreements, as well as executive compensation and human resource matters.
